Throughout the pandemic your Capitol Lakes Foundation has provided books followed by discussion groups for all interested residents.
Since March we have read and discussed three books including "A Gentleman in Moscow", "Straight Man", and "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks." Your Foundation plans to continue this program as the pandemic wears on and has a long list of suggested titles from residents.
Our outreach efforts are having a positive impact on our residents.
Here are just a few of the kind comments we've received:
“Thank you for the experience of reading A Gentleman in Moscow and providing the opportunity to discuss it with others”
"Thanks for arranging the book and Zoom.”
“Thanks for doing this…Nice distraction!”
“Thank you so much for organizing and guiding our book discussion”
